2nd Symposium on “Biodiversity and Health in Southeast Asia: translating research to action”
Will be held on the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Bangkok from 11 to 13th July 2016.
South East Asia (SEA) is a hotspot of both biological diversity and cultural diversity at threat. SEA remains highly vulnerable for the emergence of infectious diseases, and new
health threats such as the spread of antimicrobial resistance. The importance of biodiversity was the aim of a first Symposium on “Biodiversity and Health in Southeast Asia”, which was held at University of Health Sciences (UHS) Phnom Penh in Cambodia, supported by the CIRAD, IRD, CNRS, AFD and Fondation Merieux also for this second symposium.
Our colleague Serge Morand is on the Organization Committee.
